About the role
Our Strategy & Advisory team is the engine behind the most complex and impactful engagements we deliver. We work directly with C-suite executives and senior technology leaders to shape strategy, design roadmaps, and drive transformation at scale.
In this role, you will bring deep expertise and sharp judgement to help our clients make better decisions about technology. You will diagnose their current state, identify the highest-value opportunities, and build practical plans that connect ambition to execution. You will also support them in implementing those plans, working alongside delivery teams to ensure promised outcomes are achieved.
This is a role for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, credible in front of senior leaders, and genuinely excited by the challenge of making technology work better for large, complex organisations.
What you'll do
- Lead strategic technology engagements with C-suite and senior enterprise stakeholders, from initial discovery through to implementation and value realisation
- Design multi-year technology roadmaps, architecture strategies, and transformation programmes that align with business priorities and risk appetite
- Facilitate executive workshops, working sessions, and board-level presentations that build alignment and drive decision-making
- Develop compelling business cases, investment frameworks, and ROI models that justify technology change and secure organisational buy-in
- Collaborate with engineering, AI, data, and delivery teams to ensure strategy translates into concrete, measurable outcomes
- Contribute to NexGen's thought leadership, capabilities, and new service development by capturing insights and sharing what works
What you'll bring
- Deep experience in technology strategy, management consulting, or enterprise architecture
- A track record of advising C-suite stakeholders in complex organisations
- Exceptional communication and structured thinking skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
- Genuine curiosity about technology, AI, and the future of enterprise software
