Our student programme is built for people who want to do real work from day one.
Over 10 to 12 weeks, you will be embedded in actual projects alongside experienced professionals across the firm. You will contribute to real deliverables, sit in on client meetings, and see how teams operate when there are real deadlines and real stakes. This is not a theoretical exercise. You will be part of the work.
Students work across all areas of NexGen, from client-facing teams to internal operations, and many of our best full-time hires started as students. We are looking for people who are curious, driven, and ready to learn by doing. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
We care less about perfect resumes and more about how you think. Show us that you can reason clearly, make good tradeoffs, and communicate your work. If you have side projects, writing, research, open source, or anything you have built on your own, include it. We want to see what you can do when you are not being graded.

What you'll work on
- You will contribute to actual projects, whether that is research, analysis, writing, or other work depending on what the team needs and what fits your strengths
- You will work alongside experienced professionals who will give you real responsibility and guide your development
- You will learn how we take complex, ambiguous problems and break them down into clear plans that teams can actually execute
- You will build practical skills by doing real work, not by sitting through lectures or completing theoretical exercises
