Chief Executive Officer
Geoffrey has spent two decades working at the intersection of technology strategy and large-scale delivery. He began his career as a software engineer before moving into management consulting, eventually becoming a Managing Director at McKinsey and Company, where he led the technology and operations practice across financial services and public sector clients in Europe and the Gulf region.
Over that period he ran some of the most complex technology programmes in his sector, including core banking replacements, cloud migrations and the design of enterprise data platforms in highly regulated environments. What distinguished his work at McKinsey was a consistent focus on commercial outcomes rather than technical elegance: programmes had to deliver measurable value, and his teams were held to that standard.
He founded NexGen with the conviction that enterprise technology consulting had become too detached from execution. The firm was built to close that gap, combining strategic advisory with hands-on delivery capability. Geoffrey sets the overall direction for NexGen and remains closely involved in the firm's most significant client relationships.
Geoffrey studied Computer Science at the University of St Andrews and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He sits on the advisory board of the Royal Academy of Engineering and is a regular participant in the Financial Times Global Tech Forum.
